Has spent his adult life working in bands around Melbourne,
Dave is an accomplished drummer, an excellent singer and front person,
and an exceptional guitarist with 50 years of live working experience behind him.
For the last 40 years Dave has been at the front of bands either singing, or singing
and playing guitar
Before turning professional, Dave has worked with many respected names in the
Australian Music Industry in many support bands for acts such as Sharon O’neill,
Doug Parkinson, INXS, Wendy Stapleton and others.
Dave has formed or joined a number of DUO’S and TRIOS such
as MAJOR TOM, TREE AMIGOES, BEAUTY AND THE BEATS, PADDY’S REVENGE,
EAT MY SHORTS, IN LIKE FLYNN & NO- DRAMAS.
Being part of these acts has earned him respect in the Entertainment Industry.
In late 1996 and all of 1997 Dave was singing and playing guitar in a trio
BEAUTY AND THE BEATS and his own duo’s KAOS and NO-DRAMAS.
In 1998 Dave concentrated on SOLO work and his Duo KAOS working in venues
all over Victoria, N.S.W. and South Australia.
In 2000 Dave left Australian shores and worked in Patong beach Phuket Thailand,
Singapore and China with a 8-10 piece Philippine band Manila Machine, in a highly
respected resort in an outdoor venue playing 6 nights a week for 9 months and 7
nights a week for the 3 remaining months of the year, 2 years playing guitar /
percussion & vocals & 2 years fulltime drummer / vocalist playing international music
and western music which rewarded Dave with an award for best drummer in Patong
Beach Phuket 2003 for Tourist Entertainment. Dave returned to Melbourne after the
2004 Tsunami which flattened the resort until rebuilding was completed.
After returning to Melbourne in February 2005. Dave played in a duo ‘EAT MY
SHORTS” & “IN LIKE FLYNN” before moving up to the Gold Coast to live in 2007.
Dave has been living and working on the Gold Coast & Brisbane now for 19 years
playing solo & filling in when required playing & entertaining and has established
himself in many bowling clubs and leagues clubs all over the Gold Coast Tweed
Heads & in Brisbane with songs covering all decades through to today.
